Bio

2018-2019: Malaya played in 27 games for the Lady Bears as a forward.  She started 19 games during the season. She finished her freshman campaign with 74 points, 102 rebounds, 8 assist, 13 steals and 4 blocks.

High School:  Malaya attended Lee Magnet High School in Baton Rouge.  She played basketball for Head Coach Valencia Wilson.  Her Patriots team made it to the state quarterfinals her junior year and state semi-finals her senior year.

Personal: Hometown is Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She is the daughter of Brandy and    Spears.  She has two younger sisters.  BRCC Major is Education.  Her mother played collegiate basketball at Southeastern Louisiana. Her favorite food is red beans and her favorite movie is Princess and the Frog.
