Bio

High School: Younique "Nique" Jackson attended Booker T. Washington High School, where she played basketball under Head Coach Terrence Winn. During the 2023-2024 season, she earned a spot on the All-Star Team, was named to the First Team All-District, and received Second Team All-Metro Honors. Throughout her time as a Lion, she scored over 1,000 points.  Additionally, she was a member of the National Honor Society and consistently made the AB Honor Roll. Beyond basketball, Younique also cheered and participated in track for the Lions.

Personal: Younique‘s hometown is Shreveport, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Charles Jackson and Yolanda Mason Jones and has two younger brothers, Marvelous and Able. At BRCC, she is majoring in Nursing, with aspirations of becoming a nurse. Her favorite athlete is Kyrie Irving, and her preferred professional team is the Dallas Mavericks. She enjoys chicken pasta and snacks of Almond Hershey’s. The person she admires the most is her mother for her strong work ethic.
