An early first half deficient was too much for the Baton Rouge Lady Bears to overcome as they fall to the LSUE Lady Bengals, 79 to 70 this evening in the Bonne Sante Wellness Center.

LSUE opened the first quarter in a full court press that rattled the Lady Bears and kept them out of sync on the offensive end of the floor. LSUE outscored Baton Rouge 22 to 8, in the first quarter.  The Lady Bears found a bit of a rhythm, in the second quarter, but still struggled to do the little things on the offensive end. In the fourth quarter, the Lady Bears matched the Lady Bengals bucket for bucket, outscoring them 24 to 20 but it was not enough to overcome the early deficient.  LSUE Lady Bengals remain undefeated in conference play with the 79 to 70 victory over the Baton Rouge Lady Bears.
