BRCC hosted Delgado Community College on Saturday afternoon. Both teams entered the contest with a 2-2 conference record and the Lady Bears came out on top by a score of 68-38.

In what was a thre epoint game at the end of the first quarter, Sophomore guard, Mikayla Crockett exploded in the second. Crockett scored 16 of her game high 24 points, including four three-pointers. 

BRCC outscored Delgado 21-7 in the second quarter and never looked back. 

Bear Notes:

• Mikayla Crockett finished with six three-pointers on her way to 24 points. 
• Pearl Jones recorded another double-double with 16 points and 19 rebounds (8 off).
• Rhomyia Tate added 14 points. 
• Amari Banks filled the stat sheet, sinishing with ten rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. 
• Lady Bears outrebounded Delgado 45-28
• BRCC forced 19 turnovers, while only committing seven.

Lady Bears travel to Southern-Shreveport on Wednesday, February 15. Game time is set for 5:00 pm.
