The Lady Bears were back in action tonight after unusual circumstances led to a cancellation and a postponed game. BRCC hadn't seen live action since before Thanksgiving. 

The Lady Bears beat Hinds 86-47, but it took the majority of the first half before BRCC pulled away.  With a 40-27 lead at the half, BRCC never looked back in the second half, extending the lead to 23, 53-30, in the first five minutes of the second frame.

Ashley Williams led the Lady Bears in scoring as she notched 35 points. Kaylynn Walker contributed 16 points; and Rosa Bryant reached double figures with 10 points.

BRCC hits the road this weekend as they travel to Houston to compete in the San Jacinto Winter Classic. The Lady Bears play San Jacinto on Friday night and Cisco College on Saturday.  This weekend's action will be the last two games for the Lady Bears before the new year.
