Saturday March 9, 2024: Softball

Baton Rouge Bears will travel to Decatur, Mississippi this Sunday March 10, 2024 to take on the East Central Lady Warriors and the Northwest- Shoals Community College Patriots.

The Bears will play East Central at 1 pm and Northwest-Shoals at 3 pm the East Central Sports Complex.

• Baton Rouge played  East Central at home in Baton Rouge on March 7, 2024. The Bears and the Lady Warriors split the day with the Lady Warriors winning game one 2-0 and the Bears winning game two 10-2.
• Northwest Shoals split with Northeast Mississippi on March 6. The Patriots won game one 11-7 and lost game two 9-1.

History Between Teams

• East Central Community College holds the overall series record with 21 wins and 5 losses over Baton Rouge.
• These two teams first meet on February 29, 2012, when East Central defeated Baton Rouge 10-0 and 6-1
• The last meeting between the two teams was March 7, 2024 when these two teams split the doubleheader with East Central  winning game one 2-0 and Baton Rouge  winning game two 10-2 in five innings.
• This will be the first meeting between Baton Rouge and Northwest-Shoals Community College.
