Update the Bears will travel to Thibodaux on Wednesday October 25 to take on the Nicholls State Colonels at 5 pm to make up the rain cancelled game.

Head Coach Mark Suire begins his second season at the helm of the Bears Softball Program. He has released the  Bears 2023 Fall Schedule. Coach Suire's team will be tested this fall with games against  a region 23 JUCO opponent, a pair of NAIA teams, a pair of HBCU teams, a DIII team and two DI teams. They will start the 2023 fall schedule with a road trip to Summit, Mississippi to take on Region 23 DII opponent the Southwest Mississippi Lady Bears on Thursday September 14. The Southwest Mississippi Lady Bears will invade Baton Rouge for a rematch on Tuesday September 26 at Hartley-Vey/ Oak Villa Park. This will be the only fall home game for the BRCC Bears softball team. The ladies will held North to take on Louisiana Christian University on Wednesday September 27 and Centenary College of Louisiana on Saturday September 30. The Bears will try across town on Wednesday October 4 to take on Southern University at Lady Jaguar Park on the campus of Southern University. On Saturday October 7, the Bears will travel to Hattiesburg Mississippi to take on NAIA opponent William Carey University. Wednesday October 11 the Bears will travel down south to take on Nicholls State University Lady Colonials. The Bears will wrap up their fall schedule with a game across town at Tiger Park versus the LSU Lady Tigers on Wednesday November 1.

This years team is a mixture of old and new faces but they all have the same goal of leaving a winning legacy and to continue the growth and success of last years team. Come out and support your Lady Bears.
