Bio

High School: DesMonte “Des” Gradney attended Iowa High School, where he played basketball under Head Coach Robie Melanson. He earned a spot on the First Team All-State in 2024.  He was a member of the 2024 3A Runner-up State Champion.

 

Personal: Des’s hometown is Fenton, Louisiana. He is the son of Boddy Gradney Jr. and Tasha Gradney. He has one sister, Dshonte Deville, and two brother, Donte Deville, Bryce Laughlin. At BRCC, Des is majoring in Business. He enjoys rap music, and his favorite app is YouTube. He admires his parents the most, as they are his biggest supporters.
