2023-2024: Jakobe played basketball and attended Cleveland Community College in North Carolina.

High School: He graduated from Shawn Dumas Academy.

Personal: Jakobe's hometown is Kentwood, Louisiana. He is the son of Lea Dykes and has two sisters, Breanna and Ava, as well as a brother, Kaden. While at BRCC, he is majoring in Business. His favorite athlete is Stephen Curry, and his favorite professional team is the Golden State Warriors. Jakobe's favorite food is birria tacos, and he hopes to visit Switzerland one day. He admires his former coach, Cody Beaudette, who served as a father figure to him.
