Monday January 22, 2018: Men's Basketball

The Bears lose a tough one Monday night against LSUA JV 76 to 75.  LSUA JV Generals hit the game winning shot at the buzzer to win the game over the Bears. BRCC held a 39 to 34 led going into halftime against the Generals.  The Generals outscored the Bears in the second half by six points, 42 to 36.  BRCC shot 45 % from the field and was 10 for 20 from the three point line.  The Bears grabbed 24 rebounds, with 16 being defensive rebounds. Baton Rouge had 21 assist and 11 steals.

 

Bears Highlights:

Michael Harden Jr. led all Bears with 17 points and 2 rebounds

Makye Richard added 14 points and 2 rebounds

Terrance Dodson scored 13 points with 7 rebounds

Dominique Elliot added 10 points an 3 rebounds

 

BRCC Bears basketball will be on the road this Friday Jan 26 and Saturday Jan 27.  On Friday, they will face Spring Hill College JC at 6:00 pm and on Saturday Jan 27, they will face Mobile College JV at 2:00 pm.
