Baton Rouge beat Mississippi Delta 70-63 on Saturday night. Struggling to score in the first half, the Bears took a 29-26 lead into halftime. The offense rebounded in the second half with a forty-one points performance. The win improves BRCC's record to 8-3 on the season, 5-2 against the all-important, Region 23 opponents.
BRCC will take a week off from game action before hitting the court again. The Bears will host LSU-Alexandria JV team on Monday, December 12. Game will start at 6:00 pm.
Bear Notes:
- Tory Ferguson led BRCC in scoring with 18 points in the game. He was perfect from the charity stripe, going 10 for 10.
- Robert Lewis scored 15 points.
- Denzel Austin and Justin Bartie were the other two Bears in double-figures, scoring 14 and 11.
- BRCC continued knocking down shots from long range, hitting nine three-pointers on Saturday night.
