BRCC won their home opener on Saturday afternoon over the Wildcats from Louisiana College. The final score of the contest was 88-56.

The Bears jumped all over Louisiana College in the first half. BRCC allowed only 18 points, while putting up 47 points of their own. 

The Wildcats did not give up and played an even second half with Baton Rouge. 

Today's win brings the Bears record to 2-0 on the season. Next up for Baton Rouge is a home game versus Mississippi Gulf Coast on Thursday, November 10th. Game time is set for 6:00 pm.

• David Hardin tallied 17 points in the win.
