Baton Rouge was battling Holmes for thirty minutes on Thursday night, trailing 50-47 with ten minutes remaining in the game. Unfortunately, the shots stopped falling for BRCC and the Bulldogs pulled away for a double-digit victory, 77-65.
Bear Notes:
- Leading BRCC in scoring was Darius Williams with 16 points. Williams knocked down 3 three pointers, all in the second half.
- Devante Marshall and Jonathon Ross both reached double-figures, scoring 15 and 10 respectively.
- Baton Rouge made eight three point shots, but was outdone by the Bulldogs who made eleven during in the contest.
- BRCC was outscored 46-36 in the second half.
With the loss, BRCC falls to 3-14. The Bears host Chipola College (FL) on Tuesday evening. Game times is set for 5:30 pm.
