Baton Rouge battled back all night, but ultimately fell short against Lee College. Facing a 47-26 halftime deficit, BRCC could have called it a night against the Rebels. Midway through the second half, the lead was cut to nine 59-50.
Two times late in the game the lead was cut to four, but BRCC could not get any closer. Baton Rouge lost their final home game of the semester 81-74.
Bear Notes:
- A trio of Bears scored 14 points apiece to lead Baton Rouge: Paul Richard, Demetrius Fitzpatrick and Karim El-Amin.
- Jynediah Gittens and Devante Marshall each added nine points.
- BRCC outscored Lee College in the second half, 47-34.
- Baton Rouge made 8 three-pointers in the game. Fitzpatrick made four.
BRCC has one more game before they take a two week winter break. The Bears travel to Chipola College (FL.) on Saturday. Game time is set for 2:00 pm
