Baton Rouge defeated Copiah-Lincoln (57-54) on Tuesday afternoon for their second win of the season. The overtime victory came after BRCC watched a sixteen point lead dwindle in the second half. The Bears were able to regain momentum and outscore the Wolves by three points in the extra frame. 

Bear Notes:

  • Demetrius Fitzpatrick led BRCC with 18 points.
  • Devante Marshall added 12 points in the win. 
  • BRCC shot 45% from the field, while holding Co-Lin to 33% shooting. 
  • BRCC shot well from behind the three-point line, making 8/17 from long range. 
  • Baton Rouge committed 14 turnovers. 

BRCC will face Houston Community College on Saturday afternoon for a men's and women's doubleheader. The men begin the action at 2:00 pm and the women's game will follow around 4:00 pm.
