Baton Rouge faced the Bulldogs of Mississippi Gulf Coast on Saturday afternoon. Baton Rouge jumped out to an early 8-2 lead, but that was the lone bright spot during the game. The Bears fell to MGCCC 98-59.
Bear Notes:
- Jonathon Ross ledd the Bears in scoring with 16 points.
- Devante Marshall was the only other player in double-figures with 12 points.
- Gonzales jump started the Bulldogs with eighteen points, all of them in the first half.
- Cole-Johnson led all scorers with twenty-five points for MGCCC.
Baton Rouge heads to a tournament on Monday and Tuesday in Mississippi. BRCC will face Southwest Mississippi the first night, followed by an afternoon matchup against Copiah-Lincoln.
