Bears lose to Holmes

BRCC Bears fell to Holmes on Monday afternoon by a score of 80-66. The loss ends a four game winning streak that began before winter break.  The Bears have a ten day break they face before opening conference play vs Delgado on February 1st.

In the second half the Bears struggled to score and Holmes could not miss. The Bears were outscored 44-30 in the second half, however ten of their thirty second-half points came in the closing minutes when the game was out of reach.

Darryl Braggs led the team with 20 points, followed by Javis McPike's 15. Richard Johnson and Terry Blythe both scored in double-figures, with 12 and 10 points respectively.
