Having lost four straight games to begin December, the Bears were able to defeat Hinds on Tuesday night, 79-76, and finish the fall semester with a victory.

Brian Sylvester led the Bears in scoring with 19; Darryl Braggs and Joshua Ivory both contributed 17 points to the win. Javis McPike added 12 points, including the final five points of the game. 

Exams are completed and BRCC begins a three week hiatus from games. The Bears will be back in action after the New Year, with a three game road swing through Mississippi. The Bears play at Copiah-Lincoln on January 7th, followed by a rematch with HInds on January 9th and a trip to Coahoma on the 11th.
