Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College bested the Bears tonight by a score of 67-61. The Bears led 35-29 at the half, but could not get going offensively in the second frame, only mustering 26 points in the 2nd half. The loss brings BRCC's overall record to 3-2.  

Phillip Rankin led the team in scoring with 18 points, followed by Brian Sylvester who added 17. Joshua Ivory hit 4 three-pointers during the game and finished with 13.  

BRCC is back in action this weekend as they travel to Texas for two games. They will first get a rematch vs Lee College on Friday evening before facing San Jacinto on Saturday afternoon.
