BRCC men's basketball was able to hold off Copiah-Lincoln on Monday night for a 56-49 victory. The win brings the Bears season record to 3-1. 

The Bears jumped out to a 10-0 lead early in the ball game and never trailed in the contest. Although BRCC led by seventeen at the half, Co-Lin was able to battle back in the second half. The Wolves cut the lead to five, 54-49, with under 90 seconds to play, but were not able to come any closer.

Brian Sylvester led BRCC in scoring with 12 points, Phillip Rankin added 11 points and Darryl Braggs contributed 10 points in the win.    

The Bears host Mississippi Gulf Coast CC on Wednesday evening. The game will be played at the Bonne Sante Wellness Center and is scheduled for a 6:00 pm tip.
