• Baton Rouge leads the all-time series record with 26 wins and 16 losses. This will be the 40th meeting between the two ball clubs. 

• These two teams first meet on February 19, 2005, when the two teams split a doubleheader. Southwest Mississippi won game one 7-4 and Baton Rouge won game two 11-4. 

• The last meeting between the two teams was February 14, 2024 when Baton Rouge would win game one 8-1 and Southwest would win game two 8-4.
