Niceville, FL

After a long bus trip to Florida and a weather delay the Bears and the Raiders were finally able to play one nine inning game this evening.

The Bears would jump out the gates early and score two runs, in the first, to take the early 2-0 lead.  William Veillon would lead off and reach by being hit by a pitch. Veillon would later score on a William Dunn single to centerfield.  Dunn would score the Bears second on a single to the shortstop by catcher Alex Guilbeau. The Raiders would tie the game at two, in the second inning, via a two-run homer by C. Nichols. The Raiders would take the lead, in the third inning, with two runs, to take a 4 to 2 lead.  The Bears would respond and retake the lead, in the fourth inning, with 3 runs of their own. Deionte Norris would start things off with an infield single. Creed David would reach by being hit by a pitch.  Both guys would score on a William Veillon infield single. Nathan Carriere would single to centerfield driving in Veillon and the Bears third run of the inning. Again, the Raiders would retake the lead with two runs of their own in the fourth inning.  After four innings, the Raiders held a 6 to 5 lead.

Unfortunately for the Bears, over the next five innings their bats would go silent and could not mustard another run, while the Raiders would add five more runs to their lead to take the 11 to 5 victory.

Both teams scattered eight hits in the game.  The Bears were credited with 2 errors.
