Bears Softball has been named one of the NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year

The NJCAA has announced its 2024-25 Academic Teams of the Year, and the Baton Rouge Community College Lady Bears Softball team has received recognition for their achievements. To qualify for this honor, a team must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. This year, 1,347 programs earned a GPA of 3.0 or above, including 193 NJCAA softball programs.
Paris Junior College was named the Softball Academic Team of the Year with an impressive GPA of 3.96. The BRCC softball team completed the year with a solid GPA of 3.46. Additionally, ten student-athletes from the Lady Bears were named to the All-Academic teams. The honorees are:
