This week’s Athlete of the Week is Freshman Guard Shelcie LeBlanc, from the Lady Bears Basketball team. In the opening game of the season against Northwest Mississippi Community College, Shelcie scored a game-high 17 points. She followed this performance with another outstanding game on November 5, where she scored a game-high 26 points and made the game-winning shot against the Hinds Lady Eagles, in the Bears Den. So far this season, the Carencro freshman guard has accumulated 43 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 5 steals.
