Baton Rouge, LA: Baseball

Bears Baseball will travel to Chalmette to take on the Nunez Community College Pelicans at Chalmette High School- Noel Suarez Stadium, in conference play. The three game series will start with a single game on Friday April 26, 2024 and conclude with a doubleheader on Saturday April 27, 2024. This games will end the regular season for both teams. NJCAA Region XXIII Tournament play will start next Thursday May 2, 2024.

 History Between Teams

• Baton Rouge leads the overall series with 22 wins and 13 losses over Nunez.
• These two teams first meet on March 9, 2017 when Baton Rouge defeated Nunez 14-2.

The Bears will play in the Region XXIII tournament at Delgado on Thursday May 2- Saturday May 4. The winner and runner up of the Region XXIII tournament moves on to play in the NJCAA South District Championship on May 8- May 12 in Oxford, Alabama.
