Baton Rouge Lady Bears take down the Delgado Lady Dolphins in a LCCAC match up this evening ,in the Alario Center, by the final score of 62 to 51.

It was a close game in the first quarter as BRCC held a slim 16 to 14 lead at the end of the quarter. At the half, Baton Rouge lead by eight points; 34 to 26. The Lady Bears extended their lead to 50 to 38 at the end of the third quarter.  Delgado would outscore BRCC, in the fourth quarter, 13 to 12 but the Lady Bears would grab the 62 to 51 victory.

With the win, Baton Rouge improves to 10-13 and 3-2 in conference play.  Delgado falls to 4-16 and 1-4 in conference play.

The Lady Bears were led in scoring by Desrael Schnyder with 17 points, while Delgado was led by Nora with 17.

Lady Bears Highlights:

Desrael Schnyder led all Lady Bears with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals

Kayla Watson scored 14 points with 2 rebounds and 4 steals

Sydney Martin, Harlee Doucet and AH'Million Cosby each added 6 points

The Lady Bears will be back in action this Saturday February 16 at 2 pm as they face LCCAC opponent Southern Shreveport Lady Jags in the Bonne Sante Wellness Center.
