BRCC finished the season sweep of LSU-Eunice on Saturday afternoon with a 68-56 victory. The win improves the Lady Bears conference record to 4-3, one game behind Southern-Shreveport at 5-2.

Bear Notes:

• BRCC outrebounded LSU-Eunice by a slim margin, 38-37.
• Lady Bears forced 28 turnovers while committing 23.
• Mikayla Crockett led BRCC in scoring with 17 points. She would add three boards and two assists. 
• Pearl Jones finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds. 
• Amari Banks recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. 
• Rhomyia Tate added 12 points and filled the box score with three rebounds, steals and assists.
• Oterica Witherspoon is the fifth Lady Bears to score in double figures. She contributed 11 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists.

BRCC is on the road for the final two games of the season this week. They travel to Delgado on Wednesday evening and close the regular season with a trip to Southern-Shreveport next Saturday. The Lady Bears must win both games, and get a little help, if they want a shot to return to the Region 23 tournament in March.
