Baton Rouge fell to Southwest Community College on Saturday afternoon 59-49. The Lady Bears found themselves trailing the entire game and could never make a final push. After the loss, BRCC falls to 5-6 on the season.

Bear Notes:

  • Pearl Jones led Baton Rouge with another double-double. She had 14 points and 10 rebounds (8 offensive).
  • Doneisha Young scored 12 points.
  • Celica Sterling added nine points for the Lady Bears.
  • BRCC was outrebounded by Southwest 34-28; Baton Rouge gave up 13 offensive rebounds.
