BRCC Lady Bears bounced back on Monday night with a victory over Copiah-Lincoln. After beginning the season with a victory vs San Jacinto, the Lady Bears dropped three straight games last week to bring their season record to 1-3. 

BRCC led at intermission by a score of 39-31, but found themselves trailing in the second half after the Lady Wolves began the half on a 20-10 run. However, the Lady Bears were able to regain control of the contest before pulling away with a 80-66 victory. The win brings the Lady Bears record to 2-3 for the season.  

Rosa Bryant led BRCC in scoring with 24 points; followed by Ashley Williams with 21. Joining these two in double figures were a pair of sophomore guards, Kasiney Williams and Kaylynn Walker, who scored 12 and 10 respectively.

Next up for the Lady Bears is a visit from Angelina College on Saturday afternoon.  The Lady Bears tip-off at 3:00 pm in the Bonne Sante Wellness Center.
