Micah Green, “Coach Mike”, enter his fourth season as an assistant for BRCC Men’s Basketball Team. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge where he graduated from University Lab School, “U-High”, in 2012. In December 2015, Coach Mike graduated from Louisiana State University where he majored in Sports Administration. He went on to graduate from the University of Louisiana Monroe with a Masters degree in Exercise Science in May 2018.
Coach Mike began his coaching career in 2012 at University Lab School coaching 6th grade basketball. He continued to work his way up to be an Assistant Coach for the boys varsity team where they went on to win 3 consecutive LHSAA state championships and 5 consecutive state championship games. He has been able to work with many great coaches and several high level Division 1 and Division II athletes along the way.
Coach Mike is the brother of Jordan and Dion and the son of Donald and Marie Green. He coaches to continue making a positive impact on young men’s lives. #Forever44
