Lady Bear Classic Begins Today

The annual Lady Bear Classic begins today at Baton Rouge Community College. This year's event features two, top ten ranked teams in the NJCAA preseason poll. Trinity Valley comes to Baton Rouge ranked #2, while Chipola finds themselves at #7.

Three other teams will be joining Coach Lee's Lady Bears over the weekend. Southwest Tennessee, Bishop State and Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Each team will play on Friday and Saturday; a complete schedule can be found below.

Friday

SW Tennessee vs Trinity Valley                3:30 pm

Miss Gulf Coast vs Chipola                       5:30 pm

BRCC vs Bishop State                              7:30 pm

Saturday

Bishop State vs SW Tennessee                  9:00 am

Trinity Valley vs Chipola                             11:00 am

BRCC vs Miss Gulf Coast                           1:00 pm

BRCC's mens basketball will play their first home game of the season on Saturday afternoon following the Classic. Baton Rouge will square off against Louisiana College at 3:00 pm.
