Baton Rouge Lady Bears hit the road to earn a 74-58 victory over the Lady Trojans of Mississippi Delta. BRCC used a stifling defense to pull away and grab the double-digit victory; holding Mississippi Delta to twenty-two points in the second half.
Bear Notes:
- Amber Smith shot 10/16 from the field and led BRCC with a game high 23 points and four rebounds.
- Celica Sterling made 7/8 field goals and added 17 points in the win. She also dished four assists.
- Terriel Ross scored 13 points with 2 assists.
- Pearl Jones led Baton Rouge with six rebounds.
Thursday night's win brings the Lady Bears record to 5-5 on the season. BRCC takes the next week off due to finals, but will be back in action on Saturday, December 12th when they host Southwest Mississippi Community College.
