BRCC got knocked down early and could never recover. Trailing 17-2 midway through the first quarter, the Lady Bears were playing catch up the entire game. Baton Rouge never quit. They clawed back into the game, cutting the lead to five points with 90 seconds remaining before losing the game 67-59.
Bear Notes:
- Sixteen point scored by Amber Smith led the Lady Bears.
- Pearl Jones notched double-figures once again, contributing 12 points.
- Shylar O'Bear added ten points, including shooting 2-2 from three-point range.
After Monday's loss, Baton Rouge is 3-5 on the season. BRCC gets a little break over the next two weeks. Having played eight games in eighteen days, the Lady Bears have two home games to close out November. The first being on Saturday, November 21st vs Houston Community College; then Coach Lee and the team are back in action on Monday, November 30th when they host Pearl River Community College.
