Baton Rouge bounced back to win at Pearl River Community College. After beginning the season with two home victories, the Lady Bears found themselves on the wrong end of three straight road games. The 70-64 win on Monday night is the first road win of the season and brings their season record to 3-3.
Bear Notes:
- Pearl Jones, a freshman from Zachary, LA, led the team with 21 points.
- Amber Smith finished in double-digits, scoring thirteen.
- Shelby Dixon added nine points.
- Terriel Ross contributed eight.
Baton Rouge is back in action on Thursday evening at home. Northeast Mississippi Community College comes to town for a basketball doubleheader. The women's game starts at 5:30 pm, followed by the men.
