Lady Bears Win! 6-1 in Conference

BRCC Lady Bears won their final home game of the season on Wednesday night by defeating LSU-Eunice 84-76. Tonight's victory is Baton Rouge's fifth in a row, their longest winning streak of the season. The win improves the Lady Bears to 6-1 conference, 12-14 overall.

Baton Rouge started with a flurry, three minutes into the game BRCC was leading 12-3 and never looked back. LSU-Eunice was able to cut the lead to six multiple times throughout the game, but were not able to get any closer. 

Two sophomores, Lanae Bickham and Octavia Lawdins, led BRCC in scoring with 17 apiece. Terriel Ross scored 16 points for the Lady Bears, all in the first half. Two others scored eleven points, Anitara Whitfield and Ariane Addison

Baton Rouge hits the road for the final two regular season games. The team will travel to New Orleans on Saturday for a game verse Delgado Community College. BRCC will then head to Southern University-Shreveport on Wednesday, February 25th for the final game of the season.
