Baton Rouge Community College defeated Delgado Community College 61-33 on Wednesday afternoon. It is the third straight win and improves the Lady Bears conference record to 4-1 with four games left in the season. BRCC is trying to earn a trip to the Region 23 tournament in Clinton, MS and today's win goes a long way towards getting them there. 

Sophomore guards, Anitara Whitfield and Lanae Bickham, led the team in scoring, each notching 11 points. Terriel Ross added eight points of her own, while Amari Banks and Octavia Lawdins each had seven. 

Next up for the Lady Bears is a home game versus Southern University-Shreveport on Saturday, February 14th.
