Lady Wolves to much for BRCC

Baton Rouge lost to Copiah-Lincoln on Tuesday night in their first game back after a nearly three week layoff. The loss is the sixth in a row for the Lady Bears and brings their overall record to 4-11. 

Copiah-Lincoln brought an undefeated record into the contest, having beaten the Lady Bears twice during the first semester. Baton Rouge kept the game close for the first ten minutes before Copiah-Lincoln's depth and athleticism took over. The Lady Wolves led by twenty points at the half. 

BRCC fought in the second half. At one point having cut the lead to fifteen, but could not get any closer. The final score of the game was 74-39.

Lanae Bickham led the team in scoring with 11 points.

Next up for the Lady Bears is a two game road trip. BRCC will travel to face Lawson State Community College on Thursday evening. Then travel to play Arkansas Baptist on Saturday afternoon.
