Tuesday February 1, 2022: Softball

The Baton Rouge Lady Bears and the Southwest Mississippi Lady Bears tried to get their games in today but mother nature had a different plan.  The two teams got an early start to try and avoid the rain but midway through the third inning the rain started coming down and it became unsafe for the two teams to continue on the turf field.  Game one was in the middle of the third inning with Southwest Mississippi leading 5-0, but the Lady Bears were threatening with runners on second and third.  The game will be made up at a later date starting from the point where today's game ended.  That make up date is yet to be determined.

The Baton Rouge Lady Bears will return to action next Thursday February 10 as they face Holmes Community College in a doubleheader starting at 1 pm at Traction Sports Complex.
