Game One:

The Lady Bears could not control the high-powered offense of  the Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs.  The Lady Bulldogs scored at least one run in four of the five innings played, in game one.  Holmes would win game one 11 to 1, in a five inning run rule.

The Lady Bulldogs would get on the board first via an error by the Lady Bears and back-to-back doubles.  After the first inning, the Lady Bulldogs would lead 2-0. Holmes would load the bases, in the second inning, and scratch across two more runs to take a 4-0 lead.  The Lady Bears found a bit of life, in the third inning, with a single by Isabella Landeche and a double by Kristyn Lormand, but both would be stranded. In the bottom of the third inning, the Lady Bulldogs would open the frame with back-to-back doubles scoring another run.  After three the Bulldogs led 5-0.  The Lady Bears would get on the board, in the fourth inning, when freshman infielder Alara Taylor would hit a lead off homer to left field.  After four innings, the Lady Bears trailed 5-1.
