Lady Bears Softball falls to the LSUA Generals

Monday April 19, 2021

Softball: Alexandria, LA

After a week long delay due to the weather the Lady Bears were able to take the field against the LSUA Generals this afternoon in Alexandria. The Generals would defeat the Lady Bears 5 to 0.

LSUA would get on the board first via a three-run homer by B Hughes, in the first inning, to take the early 3-0 lead. LSUA bats got hot again, in the third inning, when they would hit back-to-back to back singles to load the bases. L McMahon would single with the bases loaded driving in two more runs to increase their lead to 5-0. Baton Rouge struggled offensively to get anything going all game long. The Lady Bears had five hits in the ball game but failed to find that timely hit to scratch across any runs.

LSUA outhit Baton Rouge 9 to 5. Both teams were credited with two errors in the ball game.
