Unfortunately the Lady Bears couldn't hold the lead for too long, Enterprise State bounced back to score seven runs of their own in the top of the second inning.
At that point, Hailey Tassin entered the game to pitch for BRCC. She shut down th eopposition iwth five scoreless innings. Tassin also went 3 for 3 in the game. With Enterprise offense held in check, BRCC was able to battle back and win the game 8-7 to start the weekend in Gulf Shores.
Bear Notes:
- Tassin also went 3 for 3 in the game.
- Virginia Cacioppo finished the game 3 for 4.
- Katherine Cognevich and Alyssa Bush both recorded RBI's.
In game two, Baton Rouge was on the board in the first inning after a Royelle Cobb double scored Taylor Toledano.
Just as before, the Lady Bears would find themselves in a whol after Southern Union scored five runs in their half of the first inning. This time the deficit would be too much for BRCC to overcome, losing to Southern Union 7-5.

- Michala Hughes went 2 for 3 with two singles.
