Baton Rouge was scheduled to play at home on Tuesday versus Lamar State - Port Arthur, but field conditions were affected by the storms that rolled through southern Louisiana the last few days. Instead the Lady Bears traveled to Lamar State - Port Arthur for a twinbill on Tuesday afternoon.
The two teams split the afternoon doubleheader. Lamar State won the first game 5-4, while Baton Rouge bounced back with a 3-2 victory in game two.
The weather has affected BRCC all season. The Lady Bears have already had to cancel five dates this season. Their overall record is 8-19 and will travel to Bossier Parrish on Thursday for a doubleheader.
Baton Rouge plays their final home game of the season on Thursday, April 17th when the Lady Bears host Meridian Community College.
