Nicholas Robinson, Coach Rob, enters his fifth season as an Assistant for the BRCC Men's Basketball Team. Coach Robinson is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Broadmoor Senior High School in 2007. He later received his Associates degree from Baton Rouge Community College in Business Technology in 2013.

Coach Robinson started his coaching career back in 2010, working with local youth players in Baton Rouge at several YMCA locations. In 2013, he accepted the position as head basketball coach of the 7th grade boys basketball team at Hosanna Assembly Academy where he spent three years servicing the youth and teaching different fundamentals about basketball. Coach Rob led his group of 7th grade students to two middle school championship and assisted in several additional championship titles with the 8th grade team.

In 2015, Coach started working with a local youth organization called the "Capitol City Crusaders" founded by Isaiah Marshall.  As he served over 60 youth players, Coach Rob established a reputation around the city with his aggressive coaching style, and has been able to work with some of the best players in the Baton Rouge.

In 2016 Coach Rob was a co-founder of the Capitol City Prep Academy. Capitol City Prep Academy strives to help improve the basketball IQ and fundamentals through seasonal leagues played throughout the year. Capital City Prep also housed post-graduation kids. One particular was Johnathon Thornton, who played on the team and later signed with North Country College in Saranac New York. 

Coach Robinson is inspired everyday by his three beautiful daughters (Nadia, Niyah and Natalie), his mother (Patricia), and his four sisters (Staci, Kyeiana, Richel, and Kiera).
