Bears road to Hutch will begin against Mississippi Gulf Coast

After a wait of almost two weeks, the Bears finally know their opponent for the first round of the NJCAA Region XXIII Tournament. The Bears have been given the ninth seed in the twelve-team tournament. They will face the #8 seed, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Bulldogs, in Perkinston, Mississippi. If the Bears win that game, they are scheduled to play on Monday, March 10, at # 1 Jones College in Ellisville, Mississippi. The semifinals and championship games are set for Wednesday, March 12, and Thursday, March 13, at the MACCAC regular season champions ( Jones College) .The winner of the Region XXIII tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.
