Bears Sophomore Guard Courtney McCarthy named to All Classic Team

The coaches involved in the Bossier Parish Decari Markray Classic selected five players to represent the All-Classic Tournament Team. Braylan McNeal from Bossier Parish was named the MVP. The Bears had one student-athlete make the team: Courtney McCarthy, a sophomore guard from Monroe, Louisiana. In two games, Courtney McCarthy scored 20 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and had 1 assist.

The two-day classic was established in November 2022 to honor the late Doyline and Bossier Parish Community College standout, Decari Markray, who tragically passed away in October 2021.
