Bears Basketball Preseason Schedule Announced

The Bears Basketball team has released their 2019-20 Preseason Schedule. This years Bears squad is a mixture of players.  The Bears return five players from last years team that placed second in the LCCAC conference.  Coach Green has added  13 newcomers to the mix, in the hopes of winning the LCCAC and advancing in the post season. This mixture of old and new players will be tested early and often this preseason. They will play seven preseason games, in the month of October before their season opening game on November 1, when they travel to Baytown, Texas to complete in the Lee College tournament. BRCC will travel to Fort Worth, this Friday and Saturday October 4-5 to take part in the Mullen| Mitchell JUCO showcase. They will open the showcase with Paris Junior College at 8 pm, then Southwest Christian at 9 pm on Friday. They conclude the showcase on Saturday with a 4 pm match up with Midland College and a 5 pm match up with Jacksonville College. The Bears will continue their preseason on Saturday October 12, as the travel to LSU-Alexandria to play Royal Ambassadors at 5:45 pm and Louisiana  Christian Post Grad at 7 pm.  The preseason will wrap up with a home contest against Region 23 opponent, Mississippi Gulf Coast on Friday October 25 at 6 pm, in the Bonne Sante Wellness Center.
