Bears continue their road trip at Mobile College , this afternoon, and collected another win against Mobile College JV, 95 to 50. For the second straight day, the Bears came out on a mission on defense. They held the Mobile College JV Rams to only 16 first half points. Halftime score was Bears 48 and Rams 16. BRCC forced Mobile into 15 turnovers. Baton Rouge shot 63 % from the field compared to 49 % for Mobile College JV. The Bears also had a positive assist to turnover ratio with 29 assist to only 10 turnovers in the game. BRCC outscored Mobile JV by 13 in the second half, 47 to 34. Final Score was Baton Rouge 95 and Mobile College JV 50. The Bears improve their season record to 8-9 heading in conference play starting Saturday February 3 at Delgado.
Bears Highlights:
Terrance Dodson led the Bears in scoring with 30 points, and 10 rebounds
Javier Roper added 18 points, 5 rebounds
Makye Richard scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals
Justin Onwuzulike scored 12 points with 3 rebounds and 10 assist.
Bears will be back in action this Saturday February 3 at Deldago Community College at 4 pm. This is the opening of conference for the Bears.
