Bears grabbed a much needed win this evening versus Spring Hill JV 104 to 64. The Bears came out very aggressive on defense and got good offensive production from Javier Roper and Terrance Dodson. Halftime score was Bears 46 and Badgers 20. Baton Rouge outscored Spring Hill by 14 points in the second half, 58 to 44. BRCC shot 62 % from the field which included 4 three pointers. Spring Hill JV shot 46 % from the field, which included 8 for 20 from the three point line. Bears had a positive assist to turnover ratio with 36 assist to only 13 turnovers for the game. Every Bear that played contributed in the scoring column. BRCC out rebounded the Badgers 40 to 10.

Javier Roper led all Bears in scoring with 25 points, and 8 rebounds
Terrance Dodson added 23 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assist and 3 blocks
Makye Richard scored 14 points with 5 rebounds, 7 assist and 3 steals
Keandre Randall led the team with 9 assist.
The Bears will be back in action on Saturday January 27, as their road trip continues, at Mobile College against Mobile College JV at 2 pm.
