Basketball is back on the Mid-City campus of Baton Rouge Community College. The Bears and Lady Bears will begin their quests for conference championships and to get back to Clinton, MS for the Region 23 tournament. Coach Lee and the Lady Bears head into this season as the reigning Region 23 Champions; fresh off the school's first ever trip to Salina, KS for the NJCAA National Championship.
On Thursday, November 6th Baton Rouge Community College will square off vs Holmes Community College in the inaguraul Tip-Off Tailgate. A midday doubleheader featuring a women's game at 11:30 am and a men's game at 1:30 pm.
Montalbano's Seafood & Catering will be on site cooking hamburgers and hot dogs for those in attendance. T-shirts will be given to the first 1000 in attendance and the athletic department is forecasting a raucous crowd on site to cheer on the Bears and Lady Bears to victory.

The doubleheader will be broadcast via tape delay by Pelican Broadcasting Network on Cox Channel 113. Dates and times of the broadcast will be released after the games.
Admission is free to all BRCC home basketball games.
