The Bears and the Dolphins collide on the diamond in a three game conference series on March 29-30, 2025, in Baton Rouge to continue LCCAC play. This is also Alumni Weekend where we will welcome back all former Bears to Pete Goldsby Field. 

 

Game Schedule 

Sunday March 30, 2025- DH starting at 2 pm

Game 3 of series will be made up at a later date

 

Games will be played at Pete Goldsby Field

Last Time Out 

  • Baton Rouge played LSUE in a three-game series in Eunice, Louisiana on March 22-233, 2025. The Bears were swept by the #2 Bengal by the final scores of 12-0, 11-6 and 13-3 

  • Delgado Community College played Southwest Mississippi on Thursday March 27, 2025 in New Orleans.  The Dolphins swept the Bears 8-3 and 11-0 in 5 innings

History Between Teams 

  • Delgado leads the overall series with 92 wins and 36 losses over Baton Rouge. 

  • These two teams first meet on March 25, 2005, when the Dolphins would win game one 7-4 and the Bears would win game two 3-2. 

  • The last meeting between the two teams was on May 2, 2024, in the Region XXIII tournament in New Orleans. The Dolphins would defeat the Bears 3-0.
